Gallop onto the field in this exciting new dark take on Western themes by Randall Standridge.  Combining All the Pretty Little Horses, minor mode versions of Shenandoah and The William Tell Overture, as well as original material by the composer, this show depicts the mysterious dark horse who roams the nighttime prairies.  The Dark Horse (part 1) starts with a haunting solo that leads to a powerful introduction before continuing with various section features in NigthMARE (part 2).  Under the Red Moon (part 3) showcases the ensemble's lyrical side before launching into the furious finale, Midnight Ride (part 4).  With solos, section features, and powerful percussion moments, this carefully paced show offers a great vehicle for visual and musical effect, ensuring that the Dark Horse of the competition comes out on top!
